All contractors on 23HourBids.com are encouraged to secure at least 20 ratings and reviews from existing or present clients. Your competitors will have at least 20 - you don't want to be the only one that doesn’t.
You will also be encouraged to secure as many votes as possible in our Kern County 2022 Contractor of the Year Award. We will provide you with banners for your websites and social media pages to encourage your clients to vote for you. We aim to make this the Oscars of the Home Improvement Industry which will be emceed by KGET’s Illyana Capellan with up to 41 awards being presented by Mayor Karen Goh at the DoubleTree Hotel in April 2022.
When a homeowner posts a project in one of your zip codes you will be notified by text and given a link to see that project. The homeowner will send you a detailed description of their home improvements with photos and videos of what they have, plus links and photos to what they want. From that moment you will have 23 hours to bid on that job. You may also ask questions for the homeowner in our unique message center.
If you forget we will remind you in 12 hours. We will then remind you again when you have 4 hours to spare. If you miss that deadline the job disappears and you lose the right to bid.
After 23 hours, the homeowner may contact you for clarification on pricing or timelines and book a sit-down with you or your rep. Either way, you can check on the status of the job via your very own dashboard in your Platinum Membership account.
Your dashboard will contain details of all of the jobs you were invited to bid on. It will also show you your successes as well as those jobs that went elsewhere.
From there, homeowners will see your 23HourBids.com seal of safety and security. They will also be able to view your business page, look through your photo and video galleries, click links to your social media presence as well as being able to see your workers comp, insurance and bond details from your CSLB page. Homeowners are then encouraged to award the job as soon as possible and post the winning bid.
